Dr. Yue Wang

Dr. Yue Wang is senior principal investigator at the Antifungal Resistance Laboratory of A*STAR ID Labs, where his body of work focuses on virulence mechanisms of the fungal human pathogen Candida albicans.

Dr. Yue Wang is senior principal investigator at the Antifungal Resistance Laboratory of A*STAR ID Labs. His work with the lab focuses on virulence mechanisms of the fungal human pathogen Candida albicans, which causes various health issues like yeast infections and oral thrush. He has made major discoveries in this area, helping identify potential targets for diagnosis and treatment.

He is also an adjunct professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Previously, he was the Research Director of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (Singapore) and has served on the editorial board of journals such as Virulence, eLife, and Fungal Genetics and Biology.
