Dr Linny Kimly Phuong
Dr Linny Kimly Phuong is a paediatric infectious diseases physician and researcher. She holds appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Cabrini Health and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Linny’s areas of research include paediatric infections, Kawasaki disease and vaccine safety.
Linny also contributes her knowledge and expertise as an active committee member of national and international infectious diseases and health promotion committees such as Safer Care Victoria’s Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Morbidity and Mortality, as well as her own charity, The Water Well Project.
As an author of many peer-reviewed papers and a book chapter on paediatric infections, Linny is passionate about presenting balanced, evidence-based information to her patients, her colleagues and the general public.
