Biography:
I. Das (born 1964) received his early education in India, leading to a D. Phil. in Animal Ecology from University of Oxford. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and a Fulbright Fellow at Harvard University. Since 1988, he has been Associate Professor, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. His research focuses on ecology, systematics and biogeography of amphibians and reptiles of tropical Asia.
