Ahmed Galal, a member of the IDRC Board of Governors since September 2005, has been named Egypt’s new Finance Minister. He accepted the post in the cabinet of Interim Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi on July 14.

IDRC and SSHRC Launch New International Partnerships for Sustainable Societies
