Climate change is already threatening vulnerable areas such as the Arctic and Sub-Saharan Africa and undermining traditional ways of life. Vulnerable populations in the developing world are facing more droughts and extreme temperatures resulting in increased food and water insecurity, deepening poverty and greater mortality and disease.
