Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) won 6 medals at America’s largest invention tradeshow
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) researchers prove their capability when grabs 3 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal in Invention & New Products Exposition 2007 (INPEX) exhibition. Known as America’s largest invention tradeshow, the event was held from 6th to 10th June 2007 at Expomart Hall, Pittsburgh, USA.

UiTM WON 6 MEDALS IN INVENTION & NEW PRODUCTS EXPOSITION (INPEX 2007) EXHIBITION, PITTSBURGH, USA By Puteri Murni Bt Salleh Hudin Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) researchers prove their capability when grabs 3 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal in Invention & New Products Exposition 2007 (INPEX) exhibition. Known as America’s largest invention tradeshow, the event was held from 6th to 10th June 2007 at Expomart Hall, Pittsburgh, USA. For the first time ever, one of UiTM researcher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Yoot Khuan from Faculty of Electrical Engineering received 4 medals for her invention entitled An Efficient Web-based Client Viewing Tool for Telemedicine Application. She grabbed 2 Gold medals, 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze. This product was entered to compete in six different categories. Another Gold medal received for research product entitled Hadhari Scorecard by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Ismail Ramli, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roziah Md. Janor and Y. Bhg Prof. Dr. Rahmat Mohamad which also Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Commercialization/Innovation) from Centre of Strategic Planning. UiTM received another silver medal from a product entitled Multiple Intelligences Educational Courseware by Mrs. Intan Salwani Mohamed, Mr. Faris Zuhairi Mohamed and Mr. Norzaidi Mohd Daud from the Faculty of Accountancy and Faculty of Business Study, UiTM Johor Campus. With these awards, UiTM led the winners among the public universities. This is the second time UiTM received international recognition. She proved her excellence at the 35th International Exhibition of Invention of New Technique and Products, Geneva, Switzerland in April this year when UiTM topped the medal tally among the local universities with 2 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.
